We currently have openings for the following positions


OFFICE STAFF:

Sales: Are you a person who appreciates the benefits of a team environment and can also work on your own. If you detail-oriented, outgoing, and able to communicate with clients, we want to talk to you about joining our sales team to market corporate and social events. Previous catering/hospitality experience is a plus.


FRONT LINE STAFF: All positions may require a tuxedo and excellent presentation.

Rabbis: (Position type: Hourly / Part Time) Rabbinic Ordination and experience working with youth, congregational and community settings. Musical talent a plus

Cantors: (Position type: Hourly / Part Time) Cantorial experience working with youth, congregational and community settings. Ability to play musical instruments a plus.

Bartenders: (Position type: Hourly / Part Time) Responsibilities include all beverage service on events. Must have knowledge of serving beer, wine, soda bar or full service bar. Certification preferred. All bartending talent must work as a server when needed. (Position type: Hourly)

Skilled Table Servers: (Position type: Hourly / Part Time) Looking for professional captains, waiters and waitresses. You will be responsible for table service for large fine dining events to intimate dinners at our clients' homes. This individual must have a firm understanding of proper table service and etiquette including, but not limited to; setting and removal of place settings, wine pouring, etc.


KITCHEN STAFF: All positions require a chef's jacket, slacks and excellent presentation. Also knowledge of Kosher and Vegen kitchen rules is a plus.

Sous Chef:(Position type: Hourly / Part Time) We are searching for professional, dedicated, and talented Sous Chefs available to join our growing company. In our highly competitive catering business we recognize the importance of hiring and retaining top-quality employees. Our Sous Chefs are decision-makers, coaches, and leaders. We strive to provide an environment based on good morale, crew teamwork and a friendly spirit.

Pastry Chef:(Position type: Hourly / Part Time) Advantage rents state-of-the-art cooking facilities and produces some of the most delectable desserts available. If you're an experienced pastry chef, we'd love to talk to you about joining our team.

Line Cook:(Position type: Hourly / Part Time) Get your kitchen career moving while serving as a Line Cook for Advantage Catering. You'll assist in all aspects of food preparation, cooking and plating and learn culinary techniques along the way.

Event Chefs: (Position type: Hourly / Part Time) Responsibilities include all aspects of food preparation and presentation on site at the event. Must possess knowledge of kitchen set-up, operation and understand proper rotation and handling of food products. Also important is the ability to maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment. Position requires knowledge of kosher and vegen rules and the skills to direct staff in accordance to event menus as well as the ability to cook a variety of foods. Possession of a food handler card is required.

Chef Assistants: (Position type: Hourly / Part Time) Work under the direction of the lead chef on an event. Must have a basic knowledge of all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Possession of a food handler card is required.
